New Year's Day Parade

Where is it?

London’s New Year’s Day Parade has evolved into one of the world’s great street spectaculars, with around 10,000 performers from across the world and a street-side audience approaching 500,000. The parade starts at 12.00 and is filled with marching bands, cheerleaders, clowns, acrobats, kites and much more.

The Parade route runs from Green Park Tube station at 12.00, to Parliament Square at around 15.30, via Piccadilly Circus, Lower Regent Street, Pall Mall, Trafalgar Square and Whitehall.

1st January every year

Celebrations can be enjoyed for free along the parade route, or visitors can enjoy a better view with grandstand tickets which go on sale closer to the time.
