What is the project?

Connections is a collection of new bookable product, presented in the form of suggested itineraries, based on key themes that have appeal to visitors from North America and the UK: Ancestry, United Allies (D-Day & the special relationship), Faith & Religion and the Mayflower – migration stories.

These itineraries connect historical and cultural links and offer a ‘real England’ experience by placing tour guides – with local knowledge and fascinating stories to tell – at the heart of the visitor experience. The itineraries are suitable for groups and FITs; and particularly special interest groups, ancestral tourists and Mayflower descendants.
