Explore the North of England and Scotland

A guided tour of Holyroodhouse – The Queen’s official Royal residence in Edinburgh – promises a behind the scenes glimpse into how the monarchy operates in Scotland. The State Apartments, vast gardens and grounds of this dramatic fortress are waiting to be discovered.

The shopping at Harvey Nichols needs to be seen to be believed. Indulge in a personal shopping experience in one of the best stores in the country.

Having worked up a thirst, a brewery tour at Edinburgh Beer Factory will help quench that thirst. Inspired by Eduardo Paolozzi, the brweery offers great beer and a fascinating story.

Perhaps a light breakfast is best for day 4 of this itinerary! Heading west towards Loch Lomond, a day of food and drink tastings awaits. The next part of the culinary adventure begins at the York Chocolate Story. With a full guided tour, it’s a fantastic way to learn all about the most famous names in confectionery – and make some treats to take home.

From there, it’s time to for a tour with a difference! Tours in a Dish promise a historically rich and tasty tour through time – with the chance to sample fresh scones, get involved in a cheese and tea pairing workshop, sip Yorkshire coffee and gorge on some authentic Korean snacks.
