VisitBritain’s flagship event, ExploreGB, is an invaluable opportunity for you as an international travel trade buyer to meet and do business with up to 200 British and Irish suppliers and destinations in an easy and relaxed environment. Consisting of a two-day workshop filled with pre-scheduled, 1-2-1 appointments, a welcome dinner on 8 May and an evening networking dinner on 9 May, participating is hassle-free.
Your attendance at ExploreGB also includes a 4 or 5 day educational to help you expand your knowledge of Britain. Focused on our new range of bookable product, the themes including food and drink, exploring by rail, itineraries from major international gateways, luxury and new products developed through the Discover England Fund. You will have the opportunity to engage with suppliers’ products and services on a one-to-one basis, establish relationships with local experts and discuss any customer requirements and lay the foundation for future client “value” experiences.
Flights, airport transfers, food & beverage throughout and access to the workshop and educational trips are all included.
All buyer registrations are subject to a non-refundable administration fee of £199.00. VAT is also applicable if located within the EU.

You will have the opportunity to engage with suppliers’ products and services on a one-to-one basis, establish relationships with local experts and discuss any customer requirements.
Below you can find a summary of the itineraries that are planned for 2019. At this stage, the overall destinations are listed, although the final itineraries are subject to change as the services are confirmed. The complete itineraries will appear on this site nearer the date of the event itself.
All local transport, meals, accommodation and activities as part of the educational are included in the cost of ExploreGB, alongside access to the workshop, appointments and networking events and dinners.

As in previous years suppliers will sit at tables which are arranged in alphabetical order and buyers will move around for their appointments. The appointments are 11 minutes, and the buyers will have 1 minute to move around. It is essential buyers turn up for appointments.
We are planning to open the appointment preferences towards the end of February. More information will be available shortly.
VisitBritain Information Desk
The VisitBritain information desk will be located within the main workshop room. The desk will be manned at all times, should you require assistance.
Refreshments & Lunch
Refreshments tea, coffee, water and lunch is included in the delegate fee. Tea and coffee will be provided on arrival and during the set breaks.
The dress code for the workshop is business attire.
The dress code for the gala evening will be confirmed.
