Enjoy a delicious breakfast before heading out for a morning of literary and historical culture.

First stop of the day is at the Tour of the World of Beatrix Potter. Beatrix Potter is one of the Lake District’s literary icons. Well loved for her children’s classics including “The Tale of Benjamin Bunny” and “Mrs Tiggywinkle”, not many people know that she was also an important farmer, committed to the conservation of Herdwick sheep.
