Friday, May 10, 2019 - Harrogate to North Berwick

Departing Harrogate after ExploreGB, begin the journey, stopping for dinner on the way, to North Berwick where the educational itinerary begins. Arrive in North Berwick and check into your hotel for the night, Macdonald Marine North Berwick.

Saturday, May 11, 2019 - North Berwick to Glasgow

A short journey from the hotel is Tantallon Castle, a spectacular building that sits on the cliffs of Bass Rock that is rumoured to be the origin of the legend of King Arthur’s Camelot. Enjoy a guided tour of this extraordinary fortress before driving to Rosslyn Chapel, one of Scotland’s most remarkable buildings, located just on the border of the city of Edinburgh.

After a morning exploring Scotland’s heritage spend the afternoon exploring its culture in the vibrant city of Edinburgh. Enjoy a lunch with the Edinburgh Food Safari, before meeting with the style concierge and enjoying cocktails at the Harvey Nichols Shopping Experience.

Then, transfer to Glasgow by coach, where you will check into The Grand Central Hotel and enjoy dinner before retiring for the night.

Sunday, May 12, 2019 - Around and about Glasgow

After breakfast, embark on a coach journey to the Isle of Bute. Here, you will get a guided tour of Mount Stuart House and Gardens, a neo-gothic mansion that was once one of the most technologically advanced houses of its age! Surrounded by 300 acres of gardens, woodlands and coast, Mount Stuart is also home to stunning views and dramatic landscapes – enjoy lunch in these picturesque surroundings before getting the coach to Ardgowan Estate, and exploring one of Scotland’s finest stately homes.

Then, transfer back to Glasgow for dinner at The Blytheswood Square Hotel.

Day 4

Monday, May 13, 2019 - Loch Lomond and Edinburgh

After breakfast, enjoy the dramatic Scottish scenery on the transfer from Glasgow to Loch Lomond where you will indulge in the Loch Lomond Seafood Tour. This gastronomic and cultural tour includes tasting of smoked salmon at the Colquhoun Smokehouse, a local smokehouse restaurant on the banks of Loch Lomond. And if that’s not enough, it’s also a great chance to soak up some breathtakingly beautiful Scottish scenery, whilst being entertained with some legendary and hilarious tales of the past!

Then, you will return to Edinburgh where you will refresh for dinner. This evening, enjoy a taste of Scotland at Scottish Show – you will enjoy a sumptuous feast of traditional and modern Scottish cuisine that will be followed by a showcase of traditional Scottish music song and dance!
