Local Team: Nordics

Nordics B2B Approach

Our local B2B function supports the overall mission of VisitBritain to promote Britain as tourism destination for Scandinavian travelers. One of our key roles is to work alongside the UK tourism industry and local intermediaries, to identify opportunities for developing attractive tourism products for the Scandinavian markets.

During 2018-19, our product development efforts will be concentrated on the following themes:

  • Discover England Fund
  • Food & Drink
  • Rail
  • Gateways

Based on accessibility and visitor numbers from Scandinavia, 4 regions will be in focus for our market communications and product development initiatives the coming year:

  • South West England. 5th most visited region. (April to June)
  • North West England. 4th most visited region. (July to September)
  • Scotland. 3rd most visited region. (October to December)
  • London & South East England. 1st and 2nd most visited region. (January to March)

We are always interested in discussing opportunities for products development and distribution partnerships related to above themes and regions.
